Glass Windows in Brittany
In Brittany the seven diocese of the duchy, the four cathedrals of the districts, the parish churches and the chapels in the hamlets provide thousands of windows.. Stained glass windows were not only welcomed from the Middle Ages, sometimes imported from afar, but they were also part of the powerful revival of the arts in the 20th century. We admired the windows of a small church at Jocelyn composed by Olivier Debre. This painter was born in Paris April, 14 1920, married (one son, one daughter), and passed away on June 1, 1999. The windows are worthy of staining, in an effort to bathe the aisles in the unreal.
